Choosing the materials for a house means to give the house a specific character that mirror in some ways our own personality and make our stay there a pleasant one. A style is the sum of elements that give a house its own character. Each style can be countaminated by nother and can also have non-very struct rules. It can be fitted on our taste and needs; it can be our strating point or we can follow ita s it is. Our task will be to find the material that summarize all this; minimalistic and innovative ones for a contemporary house, refined and natural ones for classic houses, simple but traditional ones for a country-side house; strong but spectacular and scenographic ones for wine cellars and public places, sophisticated but easy going for hotels, bars etc.
